The Gullwing is a virtually maintenance-free modular tensile structure with a variable foot-print, that can be used for many applications in schools such as shaded play areas, entrance canopies, walkways, etc. Gullwing structures are designed to British and European safety standards, and their fabric offers 100% UV protection with great light transmission to the space below.
The main elements are: the galvanised steel structure, anodised aluminium wing structure and the Texo canopy fabric system.
- Fabric: Fabric: Heavy duty polyester membrane with 15 years plus design life, BS fire rated with weather proof PVC coating on both sides.
- Fabric surface coating: PVDF polymer resistant to atmospheric pollution.
- Metal framework: Galvanised steel or painted with 20 years plus design life. Child friendly soft mast protection available.
